After I first saw the trailer for The Social Network I was immediately intrigued to go and see the movie. I was finally able to do so this past weekend and must admit that it completely exceeded my expectations. It is easy to understand after seeing the movie why it topped the U.S Box Office for two weeks in a row.
I felt as though the whole movie was made to be very believable. The actors that were in the movie were not well known actors and this made it seem a little bit more realistic. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole movie is the fact that Justin Timberlake played the role of Sean Parker who was the co-founder of Napster. I have nothing against Justin Timberlake, however, I feel as though it took away from the realistic feel the movie was trying to portray. Mark Zuckerberg's character was played by Jessie Eisenberg who I must say did a magnificent job. While watching the movie I can imagine Mark being very similar. Jessie did a great job portraying Mark. The Social Network is an extremely entertaining film, but also is very educational. It gives viewers some knowledge on Facebook, a social network which has completely changed how people communicate with each other all over the world and it also gives some insight into an entrepreneurial environment which is a growing fad in our society today.
On a scale of one to ten I would rate this movie a 9.5. I would also highly recommend it to anyone looking to go see a good flick.
